Protein Banana Bread

Recipe

  • 2 ripe bananas mashed
  • 1 tsp cinnamon
  • 2 eggs
  • 2 Tbs maple syrup pr honey
  • 1 scoop vanilla protein powder
  • 1/2 tsp flaky sea-salt
  • 1/2 cup oats (can be rolled or steal cut)
  • 3 Tbs all purpose flour
  • 1/2 tsp baking soda
  • 3 Tbs sugar/sweetener of choice (I used brown sugar monk fruit sweetener)
  • Optional mix-ins- chocolate chips, walnuts, coconut flakes

Cream Cheese Icing recipe

  • 1 tbs cream cheese
  • 4 tbs vanilla greek ypgurt
  • 1 Tbs maple syrup
  • 2 tsp vanilla protein powder

How To Bake

  • In a bowl, mash your bananas well and add in your eggs. Mix those together
  • Then, add your vanilla extract, honey, and sugar. Mix those together
  • In a separate bowl, combine the flour, protein powder, salt, and baking soda
  • Add in your dry ingredients to your wet mixture and mix altogether
  • Finally add in the oats and any other mix-ins you have if you choose to add some
  • Bake at 350 degrees for 45-50 minutes
  • While the banana bread is baking combine all your frosting ingredients in a bowl, making sure there’s no chunks. Once your cake is done baking add this on and top with whatever you want ! (I used chocolate chips and added more cinnamon)
