Snickerdoodle cookies are one of my absolute favorites, with warm hints of cinnamon and vanilla they are a perfect sweet treat! These cookies are super simple yet so delicious.
Baking Tips
- The cinnamon and vanilla measurements I used are just the amount I prefer. You could use more or less if you would like to
- I recommend letting your cookie dough sit in the fridge overnight before baking
- You could leave the dough plain and add another mix-in besides cinnamon. The base is great for any topping
Recipe
1/2 cup unsalted butter softened (1stick)
1/4 cup granulated sugar
1/4 cup brown sugar
1 egg
2 tsp vanilla extract
1 cup all purpose flour
1 tsp cornstarch
1 tbs cinnamon
1/2 tsp baking soda
How To Bake
- First mix your butter and sugars together until the mixture is smooth
- Add your egg and vanilla extract
- In a separate bowl combine your flour, baking soda, and cornstarch
- Add the dry ingredients to your wet mixture and mix together
- Finally add the cinnamon
- Bake at 350 for about 25-28 minutes
