Snickerdoodle Cookies

Snickerdoodle cookies are one of my absolute favorites, with warm hints of cinnamon and vanilla they are a perfect sweet treat! These cookies are super simple yet so delicious.

Baking Tips

  • The cinnamon and vanilla measurements I used are just the amount I prefer. You could use more or less if you would like to
  • I recommend letting your cookie dough sit in the fridge overnight before baking
  • You could leave the dough plain and add another mix-in besides cinnamon. The base is great for any topping

Recipe

1/2 cup unsalted butter softened (1stick)

1/4 cup granulated sugar

1/4 cup brown sugar

1 egg

2 tsp vanilla extract

1 cup all purpose flour

1 tsp cornstarch

1 tbs cinnamon

1/2 tsp baking soda

How To Bake

  1. First mix your butter and sugars together until the mixture is smooth
  2. Add your egg and vanilla extract
  3. In a separate bowl combine your flour, baking soda, and cornstarch
  4. Add the dry ingredients to your wet mixture and mix together
  5. Finally add the cinnamon
  6. Bake at 350 for about 25-28 minutes
