Making chocolate chip cookies with my grandma is one of my favorite things to do. These moist and fluffy cookies are super delicious and also easy to make! The cookie dough itself is also perfect for any other mix-ins such as Oreos, Mnm’s, sprinkles, etc. In this recipe we added chocolate chips and sea salt which makes the perfect sweet to salty taste.
Baking Tips
- If your cookie dough gets too dry after adding your flour mixture, then adding milk can help make your dough more moist.
- If your cookies still seem slightly raw when taken out of the oven, they continue to cook because they are still hot so dont worry!
- You can either mix in your toppings with the batter, or add them on top of the dough balls before putting them in the oven
- Sea salt is optional but it enhances the flavor
- Letting your dough sit in the fridge for a while will help your cookies bake more thick instead of flat
- Store in a closed container
- You can eat these cookies with ice cream, syrup, or by themselves

1/2 cup unsalted butter (softened)

1/4-1/2 cup chocolate chips

- Preheat your oven to 350 degrees and prepare a pan lined with parchment paper
- Mix your butter, sugar, and brown sugar together in a bowl until you get a creamy texture

- Then add your flour mixture to the wet ingredients and mix it in well
- Using a cookie scooper or your hands, begin placing balls of cookie dough onto your pan. I made mine pretty big
